Memorial Fund for Officer Kevin Sandoval

South Pasadena Police Officer Kevin Sandoval died Tuesday after going into cardiac arrest.

The South Pasadena Police Officer's Association has established a memorial fund for Officer Kevin Sandoval who died Tuesday, Pasadena Star-News reports

Sandoval had been an officer in the city for two years after serving as a cadet for 18 months. Evidence, including an autopsy, points to an underlying medical condition as cause of death,  said Friday.

To donate to the memorial fund, checks can be made out to the "Kevin Sandoval Memorial Fund." They can be dropped off or mailed to the , 1422 Mission street, South Pasadena, CA 91030. Or they can be directly sent to Pacific Western Bank, at 625 Fair Oaks Avenue, Ste 175, in South Pasadena.
