No Threat Found in Suspicous Package Reported on Gold Line Train

The package was reported to South Pasadena police by a passenger on a northbound train.

A suspicious package reported by a Gold Line passenger in South Pasadena on Friday evening tuned out to contain only clothes.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Transit Services Bureau deputies were called to the Gold Line Mission station at about 6:15 p.m. on Friday to investigate the suspicious package, which was first reported to the South Pasadena Police Department by a passenger on a northbound train.

Sargeant Rick Pedroza of the transit services bureau reported that service on the northbound train was stalled for about 30 minutes at K-9 officers inspected the suitcase.
