Online Meet-Up Leads to Lewd Acts with a Minor, Police Say

South Pasadena Police Department say a juvenile exchanged messages with an adult stranger before meeting in person.

Two incidents of juveniles exchanging online messages of a sexual nature, one which led to the teen meeting up with the unidentified stranger, have been reported to the South Pasadena Police Department. 

On March 5, a female juvenile who had met an adult online exchanged numerous messages with the adult, who then engaged in lewd acts with the victim, according to a crime bulletin. The alleged crime occurred at 2:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. 

In another report, a mother discovered that between January and March 21 her juvenile daughter had been exchanging sexual messages and photos with an adult male she met online, police say. The alleged crime occurred in the 1600 block of Amberwood Drive.
