Police Blotter: 6 Theft Incidents

A bike was stolen from a Fremont Avenue porch last week, report police.

Between 1 and 6 p.m. May 21 on the 1100 block of Buena Vista Street, an unidentified suspect entered the victim's yard and stole a baby stroller, report police. 

Around 2:45 p.m. May 21 on the 1700 block of Grevelia Street, a victim receieved a call from a suspect, who claimed to be the victim's granddaughter. The suspect told the victim that she was out of the country, involved in a traffic accident and needed money wired. The victim complied and later discovered it was not her granddaughter, according to reports.

Sometime before 12:50 p.m. May 18 on the 1800 block of Ramona Avenue, an unidentified suspect stole the registration tabs from a victim's vehicle. 

Sometime between 4 p.m. May 5 and 8:50 a.m. May 18 on the 700 block of Mission Street at the , a suspect cut the lock to the air/water machine coin box and stole coins, according to reports.

Around 6 a.m. May 16 on the 1600 block of Alpha Street, a victim reviewed the surveillance video and saw a suspect allegedly taking a box of fruit from the victim's front porch. The suspect is described as a 20- to 30-year-old Hispanic female with light colored hair and wearing a light colored tank top and jeans, according to police. 

Between 6 p.m. May 15 and 5:30 a.m. May 16 on the 1100 block of Fremont Avenue, a suspect took a bicycle from a front porch, police reported.
