Police Blotter: Auto Burglary, Loitering and Theft

Two residential burglaries were reported in South Pasadena this week.

The following arrest information was supplied by the . It does not indicate a conviction.

Auto Burglary

Between 1:30 p.m. and 3:22 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, on the 600 block of Brent Avenue, reported that an unidentified suspect smashed the window of a ’97 Nissan Maxima and removed clothes and a binder.

Between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, on the 1300 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect smashed the window of an ’09 Toyota Corolla and removed a laptop bag.

Residential Burglary

Between 3:12 p.m. and 4:51 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, on the 400 block of Raymondale Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed equipment bags from a victim’s carport.

Between 7:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. on Monday, June 13, on the 1800 block of Bushnell Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect smashed the rear French door of a residence and removed a flat screen TV, DVD player, laptop computers, iPad and jewelry. According to police reports, a witness saw the suspect’s vehicle driving out of the victim’s driveway. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Chevy Suburban.

Theft

Between 5:49 p.m. and 6:02 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, on the 2000 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed cash from a victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Between 4:45 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, on the 1100 block of Oxley Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed an unlocked bicycle from a front lawn.

Between 12:10 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. on Friday, June 10, at on Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed a wallet and make-up bag from a victim’s unattended wallet.

Between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, June 10, at on Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed an unattended purse from a classroom.

Between 2:54 p.m. and 3:24 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, on the 1100 block of Magnolia Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed an unlocked bicycle from a condominium courtyard.

Between 6:30 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the South Pasadena High School basketball court on Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed an unattended tennis racquet case.

Between 4:26 a.m. and 4:43 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, on the 1100 block of Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed a wallet and headphones from a victim’s unlocked vehicle.

D.U.I.

At 1:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Grevelia Street, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect found driving under the influence of alcohol.

At 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, at the intersection of El Centro Street and Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect found driving under the influence of alcohol.

Loitering by a Minor

At 9:22 p.m. on Friday, June 10, at South Pasadena High School on Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that school officials contacted two students who were off campus without permits. South Pasadena Police arrested the two suspects.

At 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, on the 1000 block of Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect involved in a fight was found to be a juvenile and in violation of a nighttime curfew. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
