Police Blotter: Auto Burglary, Possession of Marijuana and Loitering

One residencial and two auto burglaries were reported in South Pasadena this week.

The following arrest information was supplied by the . It does not indicate a conviction.

Auto Burglary

Between 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, on the 1100 block of Buena Vista Street, reported that an unidentified suspect removed a laptop computer and case from an ’06 Honda Civic.

Between 6 a.m. and Thursday, June 16 and 5 p.m. on Friday, June 17, on the 100 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect forced open the window of an ’85 GMC Vandura and removed power tools.

Residential Burglary

Between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, on the 1000 block of Garfield Road, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence through an unlocked rear door and removed jewelry and a flat screen TV.

Drunk In Public

At 5:07 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, on the 1400 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was found staggering in the street. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect who was found intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

Possession of Marijuana

At 9:23 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, on the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that three suspects were allegedly smoking marijuana. South Pasadena Police arrested one of the suspects who was found under the influence and in possession of marijuana.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

At 2:47 a.m. on Friday, June 17, on the 600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. According to police reports, the suspect gave the officer a false name and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Nighttime Loitering by a Minor

At 10:54 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, on the 1400 block of Wayne Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a witness saw four juvenile suspects place duct tape in a street intersection. South Pasadena Police arrested the four suspects.

At 12:16 a.m. on Friday, June 17, on the 1000 block of Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect walking in the street was identified as a runaway juvenile. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

At 8 a.m. on Friday, June 17, on the 1600 block of Amberwood Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect was identified as a runaway juvenile. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
