Police Blotter: Commercial Burglary, Indecent Exposure and Theft

There were six commercial burglaries reported in South Pasadena during the week of Wednesday, March 9 though Tuesday, March 15.

At 9:44 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at the on the 900 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, reported that a suspect exited the pharmacy through the rear emergency exit without paying for diapers and razor blades. The suspect is described as a 30-year-old Hispanic male wearing a blue plaid short-sleeve shirt.

Between 8:20 a.m. and 10:16 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, on the 300 block of Grand Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect entered a residence by prying open a rear window and removed jewelry. The suspect is described a 17 to 18 year old Hispanic female with a slim build.

At 6:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at the intersection of Meridian Avenue and Gillette Crescent, South Pasadena Police reported that a victim was walking down Meridian Avenue when she saw a suspect masturbating in a vehicle with no pants on. According to police reports, the suspect drove away after being seen by the victim. The suspect is described as a 30 to 35 year old white male with short dirty blond hair and blue eyes. The suspect’s vehicle is described a white pick-up truck with a camper shell.

At 7:56 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, on the 1300 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that a victim saw a suspect with the victim’s bicycle that was stolen on . According to police reports, the suspect was found to have an outstanding warrant. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Between 1:13 p.m. and 1:37 p.m. on Friday, March 11, on the 1400 block of Oneonta Knoll Street, South Pasadena Police reported that a victim discovered jewelry was missing from residence after having workers inside.

At 6:29 p.m. on Friday, March 11, on the 300 block of Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that an unconscious suspect was found to be heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

At 10:36 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the at the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that two suspects exited the market without paying for liquor. The first suspect is described as a 40–year-old Hispanic male wearing a beige and black stripe shirt. The second suspect is described as a 20-year-old Hispanic male wearing blue paid shirt, beige pants and a dark hat. The suspects’ vehicle is described a beige Toyota Tundra.

At 10:29 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the intersection of Oxley Street and Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect asked a victim for directions. According to police reports, the suspect hit the victim and knocked the victim to the ground. Three additional suspects exited the first suspect’s vehicle and also hit the victim and took the victim’s cell phone, police said. The first suspect is described as 16 to 17 year old Hispanic male wearing black baggy clothes. The suspect was driving a black BMW.

At 11:07 a.m. on Monday, March 14, at the Pavilions on the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect hid meat in his pants and exited the store. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Between 5:06 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at on the 1500 block of Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect smashed a window and a display case and removed gold, silver and crystal clocks.

At 7:20 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at the intersection of Huntington Drive and North Stoneman Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect with false registration tabs on a vehicle

At 9:06 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at the on the 1700 block of Garfield Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that two suspects exited the store without paying for liquor and food. The first suspect is described as 30-year-old Hispanic female with blond hair wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dark bag. The second suspect is described a 30-year-old Hispanic female with long hair wearing blue jeans.

At 4:23 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at the on the 400 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect exited the store without paying for batteries hid in a purse. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.
