Police Blotter: Stolen Vehicle, Assault and Residential Burglary

South Pasadena Police reported that one vehicle was stolen during the week of Wednesday, February 9 through Tuesday, February 15.

At 6:20 p.m. on Monday, February 7, at the  on the 400 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, reported that a loss prevention officer caught a suspect, who is a store employee, embezzling cash. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, at the 1100 block of Brent Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect, who is an acquaintance of the victim, entered a victim’s residence. According to police reports, the suspect and victim got into an argument that escalated into a fight. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Between 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9 and 8 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, at the 200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence that was under construction and took tools.

Between 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 10 and 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, at the 1400 block of Huntington Drive, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect pried open the door lock of a ’99 Ford E350 and took a fire extinguisher.

Between 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 10 and 3:06 p.m. on Friday, February 11, at the 200 block of Mockingbird Lane, South Pasadena reported that a ’96 Saturn was stolen.

At 6:23 a.m. on Sunday, February 13, at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Monterey Road, South Pasadena Police reported that a male suspect intentionally collided the vehicle he was driving into a female victim’s vehicle. Police said the suspect and victim had a past relationship together. When the victim attempted to drive away the suspect collided into the victim’s vehicle again and the vehicle crashed into the center median, police said. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect. At 7:14 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, at the 400 block of Orange Grove Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect involved in a traffic collision that was driving under the influence of alcohol.
