Police Blotter: Three Banks Vandalized with Glue

A suspect glued the ATM keypads and card readers at three Fair Oaks Avenue banks last week.

The following crime and arrest information was supplied by the . It does not indicate a conviction.

Vandalism

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, on the 1300 block of Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported a suspect damaged his parent's door frame during an argument. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Between 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21 and 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect vandalized the ATM machine by gluing keypads and card reader. The suspect also placed glue in the door lock.

Between 12:01 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect vandalized the ATM machine by gluing the keypads and card reader.

Between 12:03 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at on Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena reported that an unidentified suspect vandalized the ATM machine by gluing keypads and card reader. The suspect also placed glue in the door lock.

Stolen Vehicle

Between 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 and 7:14 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, South Pasadena Police reported a '99 Acura Integra was stolen on the 600 block of Park Avenue.

Residential Burglary

Between 8 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, on the 1100 block of Pine Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a residence though a rear door. Several items were stolen including two guitars, microphone and other musical equipment.

Brandishing a Deadly Weapon

At 9:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, on the 700 block of Brent Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a victim was at a suspect's ex-girlfriend's residence. According to reports, the suspect and victim got into a fight and the suspect pulled out a gun. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

False Information to a Police Officer

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, on the 1100 block of Pine Street, South Pasadena Police arrested two suspects who gave false names to officers. According to reports, one suspect has a several outstanding warrants and the other suspect possessed narcotic paraphernalia.

Possession of Burglary Tools

At 1:39 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, on the 1000 block of Arroyo Drive, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect with an outstanding warrant that possessed burglary tools and a hypodermic needle.

DUI

At 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, at the intersection of Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspect passed out while stopped in the traffic lane. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect.

Drunk in Public

At 3:17 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, on the 1500 block of Diamond Avenue, South Pasadena Police reported that a suspicious person was sitting in a witness' driveway. South Pasadena Police arrested the suspect who was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

At 8:38 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at the intersection of Oxley Street and Montrose Avenue, South Pasadena Police arrested a suspect who was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

Theft

Between Friday, Dec. 23 and Wednesday, Jan. 18, on the 1000 block of Glendon Way, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed a bicycle and power saw from the driveweay of a victim's residence.

Between 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 and 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, on the 1600 block of Camino Lindo, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect removed  a muffler from a victim's driveway.

At 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, on the 1000 block of Mission Street, South Pasadena Police reported that one suspect took an unattended backpack from a bookstore counter, while another suspect attempted to exit the store without paying for a book. According to reports, the second suspect returned the book and exited the store. A store employee later discovered the backpack was missing. The first suspect is described as a 22-year-old white male, approximately 5'9" and 140 pounds, wearing a black shirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic female with black hair wearing a green sweater and blue jeans.

Between 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 and 10:17 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, on the 1400 block of Oak Street, South Pasadena Police reported that an unidentified suspect entered a victim's unlocked vehicle and removed a bag.
