Police Report Auto Burglaries on Raymondale Drive

After charging a Santa Ana male with a string of burglaries, police still suspect another male was involved.

Anthony Allen Phan, 22, of Santa Ana was charged Tuesday night with receiving stolen property and battery on a peace officer after South Pas Police were called to the 300 block of Raymondale Drive for an in-progress auto burglary.

Witnesses say they saw two male suspects attempting to force open the doors of parked vehicles. Upon arrival, police found Phan walking westbound on State Street. After a brief foot chase through a nearby apartment complex, police caught Phan with items linking him to the crime.

An extensive search was conducted, but the other suspect was never found. Since Tuesday night, several other victims have reported auto burglaries.
