Man Robbed at Gunpoint on Mound Avenue
Two males are suspected of committing an armed robbery on Mound Street Thursday. Did you notice any abnormal activity?
A 30-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while walking to a store in South Pasadena, announced Friday.
The robbery occurred around 11:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Mound Avenue, according to police.
The victim was walking to a store when the two suspects approached him and one pointed a blue, metal semi-automatic handgun at him, police said. The suspects ordered the man to the ground and took his wallet, iPhone and iPod Touch then fled the scene in a burgundy two-door vehicle headed southbound on Mound, police said.

The first suspect was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a bandana over his face, a baseball cap, a black puffy jacket and dark-colored jeans. The second suspect was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt or jacket with a college or sports logo.
Police believe the same suspects committed a second armed robbery of a couple walking near the intersection of Dayton Street and Delacey Avenue in Old Town Pasadena around about an hour and a half later.
