Burglary at Eye Care Store on Fair Oaks

Two suspects escape with eyeglass frames.

Two suspects smashed the rear glass door of a South Pasadena eye care store Thursday and escaped with numerous eyeglass frames from the shop’s display shelf, according to police.

The burglary occurred on the 1100 block of Fair Oaks Avenue at around 1:50 a.m., according to a communiqué from the South Pasadena Police Department. The suspects were caught crawling across the store and committing the alleged crime on the store’s video surveillance camera.

Believed to be aged around 25 years to 35 years, both the suspects were wearing light-colored shirts and pants as well as gloves, dust masks and eyeglasses.
