Two unidentified men fled the scene after the resident walked toward the window.

A South Pasadena resident awoke to scratching noises outside the resident's apartment window, and saw two people fleeing the property, according to a report from South Pasadena Police.

The would-be burglars attempted to pull open a window of a unit in the 1600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue just before 7 p.m. on Feb. 12. Police found pry marks around the window, the report stated. The suspects were described as male, wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts.
