Update: Missing Boy Found in Venice

Pablo Gaeta ran away from his home on Grand Avenue with a friend around midnight Monday.

Update: Pablo Gaeta, who ran away from his South Pas home Monday, was found in Venice Beach around 2 a.m. Friday, according to his mother Julie Gaeta.

He was safe and with his friend, Harriet Ambromowitz, who is also pictured above.

Original story: South Pasadena resident Pablo Gaeta, 12, has been missing since midnight Monday when he ran away from home, according to his mother Julie Gaeta.

He was last seen at his residence on Grand Avenue with a friend, who is also pictured above.

"We are desperately worried about him," Gaeta told Patch.

The boy is described to have brown eyes, brown hair, 5' 6" and wearing glasses. See the above flyer for more details.

From the facebook page listed above: ATTENTION: PABLO HAS BEEN FOUND. he was sleeping in venice beach. we are incredibly grateful and he is very lucky that he is ok. thanks for the support, we only wish we had done this earlier and maybe he would have been found earlier. But thanks so much everyone it means so much to us as we try to deal with this difficult time
