STOLEN VEHICLE

• Nov. 12, 5 p.m. to Nov. 13, 7 a.m., 1000 block of Arroyo Verde. ’07, Toyota FJ Cruiser.

• Sept. 26 to Sept. 29, 1600 block of Huntington. ’00, Mercedes ML. Recovered on 11-19-13 by LAPD Van Nuys Division.

AUTO BURGLARY

• Nov. 13, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., 900 block of Lohman Lane. ’10, Mercedes SLK 350. Suspect(s) smashes window to gain entry. Loss: Purse.

• Nov. 13, 1:20 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., 1300 block of Monterey. Ford Explorer. Suspect(s) gains entry by unknown means. Loss: Purse.

• Nov. 13, 3:30 a.m., 1000 block of Arroyo Verde. ’03, Nissan Murano. Suspect(s) gains entry through a partially opened window, and unlocks the door. Suspect(s) activates alarm upon opening the door. Loss: Sunglasses.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• Nov. 18, 8 a.m. to 5:53 p.m., 2000 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) gains entry through an opened window. Loss: Kindle, jewelry, laptop computer, I-pad and keys.

• Nov. 15, 4:25 a.m. to 4:30 a.m., 2000 block of La Fremontia (garage). Suspect(s) enters opened garage and takes items. Victim exits house and sees suspect running from garage to a waiting vehicle. Loss: Scooter, tools, bag of recyclables and case of water. Suspect Vehicle: Older model, dark colored Chevy or Toyota. Suspect Description: Male, unknown race, 5-foot-10, thin build, wearing dark clothing.

ASSAULTS

Nov. 19, 1:26 p.m., 1500 block of Diamond. Victim is a construction worker and parks vehicle across the street from suspect. Suspect yells at victim and then throws a rock at victim. Suspect is found to have a mental illness and is committed to a hospital.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY

• Nov. 13, 2:47 p.m., 2000 block of Milan. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of marijuana. Suspect is also found to be in possession of items stolen from a theft in San Bernardino. Suspect Arrested: Male, Hispanic, 22 years, Alhambra.

• Nov. 13, 1:55 a.m., 1100 block of Maple. Officers see suspect vehicle double-parked on the street with no headlights on. Officers contact suspects who are found to be in possession of stolen property and burglary tools. Suspect Vehicle: ’13, black, Honda Civic. Suspects Arrested: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 32 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Female, Hispanic, 37 years, Los Angeles. S3 – Female, Hispanic, 35 years, Los Angeles.

DUI

• Nov. 17, 7:26 p.m., 100 block of Monterey. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Suspect Arrested: Male, White, 30 years, Los Angeles.

THEFT

• Nov. 19, 7:34 p.m., 1000 block of Foothill. Victim is inside house and victim’s dog alerts to suspects on front porch. Victim looks out window and sees suspects taking bicycles from front porch and ride away. Victim chases after suspects and is able to knock S1 off one of the bicycles. S1 gets up and runs away, as S2 continues to ride away. Victim recovers one of the bicycles. Loss: (2) bicycles (one was recovered). Suspects Description: S1 – Male, White, 17-24 years, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a blue cap. S2 - Male, White, 17-24 years, wearing a black shirt and a black cap.

• Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 600 block of Brent. Suspect is related to victim, but is no longer allowed at residence. Suspect gains entry through an unlocked window and takes items. Suspect later contacts victim and admits to taking the items. Victim calls police and suspect is arrested. Items are recovered. Loss: Clothes and I-pads. Suspect Arrested: Male, Black, 21 years, South Pasadena.

• Nov. 15, 10:45 p.m. to 11:20 p.m., 600 block of Grand. Suspects take bicycles lying on victim’s front lawn. Witness sees suspect riding off with bicycles but cannot identify suspects. Victim drives around looking for bicycles and sees an LAPD Officer detaining subject (on a non-related incident). 

Subject denies taking bicycles and LAPD is able to locate second bicycle lying on a nearby residence. Subject is identified and released, and bicycles are returned to victim. Loss: (3) bicycles (two are recovered).

• Nov. 15, 9:32 p.m., 1800 block of State. Suspects jump over fence to gain entry into apartment complex. S1 removes bicycle from bicycle rack and suspects leave with bicycle. Surveillance video captures suspects committing crime. Loss: Bicycle. Suspects Description: S1 – Male, White, 5-foot-10, heavy set, gray hair, mustache, wearing prescription glasses, black shirt, jeans and brown boots. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 5-foot-6, medium build, wearing dark framed glasses, blue hat with “LA” insignia, blue short sleeve shirt with blue long sleeve shirt underneath, gray shorts, and gray hi-top shoes.

• Nov. 15, 8:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., 400 block of Grand. Suspect(s) takes duffle bag strapped onto victim’s motorcycle. Loss: Duffle bag containing instruments.

• Nov. 15, 9:28 p.m., 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store and hides bottle of liquor inside clothes. Employee sees bottle sticking out of suspect’s pocket. Suspect exits store without paying for liquor. Employee chases after suspect and employee sees suspect entering a waiting vehicle and driving away. Loss: Liquor. Suspect Vehicle: Dark-colored Scion. Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 6-foot, wearing a black shirt, jeans and carrying a backpack.

• Nov. 15, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 1400 block of Diamond (South Pasadena High School track). Suspect(s) takes unattended backpack left on bleachers. Loss: Backpack.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• Nov. 14 to Nov. 15, 2000 block of Maycrest. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card account and makes an unauthorized charge.

• Oct. 19 to Oct. 29, 5000 block of Harriman. Victim places mail into postal collection box. Suspect(s) gains access to mail and alters victim’s check. Suspect(s) then cashes altered check. Loss: Mail.

• July 2013 to Oct. 25, 1600 block of Raymond Hill. Victim meets suspect online and they begin to speak regularly but never meet. Suspect claims to be inheriting a large amount of money, but asks victim several times for money in order to claim inheritance. Victim complies and wires money to Africa. Victim later becomes suspicious.

DISTURBING THE PEACE

• Nov. 17, 2:49 a.m., 1600 block of Amberwood. Suspect is having a party, which disturbs victim’s peace. Victim makes a private person’s arrest on suspect. Suspect Arrested: Female, White, 24 years, South Pasadena.

VANDALISM

• Nov. 14, 10:30 p.m. to Nov. 15, 10:30 a.m., 1600 block of Amberwood. Suspect(s) scratches victim’s vehicle.
