Dead South Pas Man's House Burglarized; Cause of Death Released
LA County Coroner's Office releases preliminary information on the death of Miguel Santamaria.
Update: South Pasadena Police Department detectives say a burglary occurred at Santamaria's residence sometime after his death. There was no forced entry into the location, according to a Nixle report released Sunday.
Missing from the residence are Santamaria's vehicle, a 2001 Honda Civic (4-door, green, CA Lic# 4PIM316, still outstanding), his cell phone, wallet, laptop computers and dog. Santamaria's dog has since been located at a shelter in the City of Downey.
SPPD Detective Bill Earley is asking for anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact him directly on his cell phone at 626-318-5552.
Original Story: According to the , the L.A. County Coroner's Office has determined Miguel Santamaria died of natural causes last Monday at his residence in the 1600 block of Amberwood Drive.
Meanwhile, SPPD detectives are currently conducting a residential burglary investigation. Updates will follow.
