If it doesn;t show her taking a wallet do you think it is appropriate to circulate her photo to the general public?

Mry R., it is appropiate whe the police have identified the person as a suspect through their investigation. We would not capriciously name someone as a suspect and air thier photo if we were not sure. In this case, the same women in the Bristol Farm's video was seen in another store video using the suspect's stolen credit card. This photo just happens to be the best one available. The PD will continue to submit photos to the Patch of unidentified suspects in the hope that the public will help us identify them. I hope this answers your question. SPPD Det. Sgt. Jim Valencia

A friend of mine who works in a grocery store told me that she sees women leave their purses unattended in shopping carts many times every day. This should be a lesson. You must be vigilant at all times.
