I know that a particular motel in this local Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula Area has many security cameras along its building. But none of them are operable except one inside the motel office. It also has several cameras in outdoor housing on a nearby building pointed at the motel office and at the motel swinmming pool. That looks impressive but they are empty sheels, just for looks. A possible very serious crime or murder occured there where it should have been recorded on about 4 security cameras, but all of the cameras aimed at that location were NOT operating, or were dummies.

In locations where medical marijuana dispensaries are given operating permits it is usually a REQUIREMENT they have a security COLOR cameras covering the entire inside AND the area nearby outside. Where the dispensary is permitted, the operator is motivated to comply with the rules. The collective members have to sign an agreement to not smoke or hang out nearby. If the members break that agreement they are kicked out from the collective and can no longer obtain their medicine there. In places where the dispensary does not have a permit they might or might not exercise those safety rules. In places where only tough criminal types open a hidden dispensary they are much more likelt to also sell to minors and persons with no doctors recommendation, or even sell meth or cocain or oxycotin, and not have video cameras.. It is a fact that there were over 650 MMJ dispensaries operating in California WITH city or county PERMITS prior to the ongoing federal crackdown. IT IS A FACT That in many of those locations crime in areas near the permitted dispensaries was REDUCED. IT is a fact that when some of the established locally permitted dispensaries were closed down by the Feds crime in the nearby areas INCREASED. That was believed to be happening because there had been security video of the parking lots, or street and sidewalks in front and nearby, plus more traffic by responsible customers, and assumed police drivebys. LOL TVOR But seriously, I get what Gal Cann says and I cannot believe I am saying that. LOL He is on track with the article just about 3000 miles from the stop. But back to the robbery here, thank God no one was shot, and hopefully they will be found, but its off the freeway, and back on the freeway and out of the area in 15 min, with a possible car change down the street kind of thing. :/ If you sit next to the freeway its a bad choice even though you make alot of $$$
