Wrongway Driver Crashes on 15 Freeway

A motorist drove on the wrong side of the Corona (15) Freeway in Southwest Riverside County at speeds of up to 100 mph before crashing about 1:30 p.m. today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorist led CHP officers north on the south side of the Corona (15) Freeway into Lake Elsinore at speeds of up to 100 mph before the truck crashed today, officials said.

The driver was behind the wheel of a white Ford F-150 north on the southbound right-hand shoulder as it traveled through Lake Elsinore, where it crashed at Third Street about 1:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The southbound side of the freeway was closed while the CHP investigated the crash, the CHP reported.

The suspect suffered head injuries and chest pain, the CHP reported, and was to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.

"WOW.. So sad.. I'm done with this thread. Bunch of sick *&*$'s out there" REPLY: Don't go, we need reason and logic out here. The madness of comments like "I hope the bastard dies" need to be brought to light and exposed for the evil they are. The jury system in Riverside County is broke and prisoners are being released early because of lack of prison housing and funding. We simply cannot afford to lock a society based on revenge because it doesn't work and California is bankrupt.

Can you imagine having a jury of these Steppford Citizens deciding your fate? What if you had mitigating circumstances or was innocent? An inability to decipher fact from fiction, I don't believe they are capable of it.
