City Hosts Drop-Off Location for Ballots
There are no polling places for the March 12 election. Voters must return ballots by mail, or drop them off at City Hall.
The City of South Pasadena will host a ballot drop-off location at City Hall Council Chambers, Mayor’s Conference Room, 1424 Mission Street, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
if passed by two-thirds of those who vote, will renew and increase the existing parcel tax to $386 per year per parcel for five years, with exemptions for seniors and the disabled, in order to fund South Pasadena public schools.
Registered voters received the mail-only ballots in mid-February. The ballots must be returned by mail to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (LACRR/CC) by March 12, 2013. On that final date, voters who have not returned their voted ballots by mail can drop them off at the City Council Chambers/Mayor’s Conference Room. Representatives from the LACRR/CC will be in attendance to accept ballots. For this election, there will be no polling places.
