Council Sets Hearing for Massage Business

King Spa may lose its business license after its owner was charged with prostitution in February.

South Pas City Council set a business license revocation hearing Wednesday for King Spa Massage, 1318 Huntington Drive, for 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, according to Pasadena-Star News.

Mengdong Wang, the owner of King Spa, was charged on suspicion of disorderly house and prostitution after an undercover investigation was conducted by South Pas Police in February.

Wang was also cited and convicted in 2010 for employing non-certificated massage technicians, according to a staff report.
