Float Gets Finishing Touches at Crunch Time Party (Photo Gallery)

Hundreds of Tournament of Roses supporters capped the finishing touches on South Pasadena's float at the annual Thursday night.
The party raised thousands of dollars to support the float with a silent and live auction, as well as a catered dinner. Ted Shaw emceed the program and ran the auction. Supporters were encouraged to visit the float and observe the decoration process.
Mayor Michael Cacciotti presented the annual Image Awards to and Citizens in Favor of Measure UT Committee. The City presents this award annually to individuals, organizations and/or businesses who promote a positive image of the City beyond its borders.

Despite a glitch due to unusually warm weather that caused some of the flowers on the float to wilt, it's finally ready for the parade Monday! Will you be watching?
