Donnelly Can't Confirm Gun Permit

San Bernardino County Sheriff's and Sacramento police say they have not issued concealed weapon permits to Assemblyman Tim Donnelly.

Assemblyman Tim Donnelly dodged questions of whether or not he possessed a legal permit to carry a concealed gun.

Carrying a concealed weapon onto an airplane is still illegal in California, but questions were raised whether Donnelly had a right to carry a concealed weapon at all.

No one can carry/take/load a loaded hand gun onto any airline, with or without a permit and without prior approval of the airline. Tim obviously figured his place in government excluded him for some reason. I'd like to know how much gun handling experience he has even so. The last thing we need is someone with little experience hauling their loaded 45 pistol around us citizens. I'm okay with him hauling it around government offices and meetings.

There is no permit required for gun ownership and as a "Gun Owner" of course you know that. There IS a permit required for concealed carry and it IS possible he forgot it was in his briefcase. He's not stupid and he did not ascend to the position he's in by being stupid even if this in itself was a stupid mistake. I wonder why such a lynch mob? There really are MUCH bigger things to be concerned about.

Hey bader, we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants. I think very few people believe legal immigration is a bad thing. I am personally humbled at the sacrifices and hardships legal immigrants endure to come to our country, I also think that it is not fair to those legal immigrants to reward those who have already proven their intent to disobey our laws by coming here illegally.

Anthony Bader - You are a complete moron. I came to this country LEGALLY spending a ton of money for all of my docs, forms, travel expenses, plus the heartache and worries going to the US embassy for my appointments and interviews. You have no idea the efforts, the money and what I have given up to make my dreams come true in this great country. To see people come to this country illegally and then use the system for "free" benefits here really hurts me. Sure, we all want a better life, but lets do it the right way.
