Endeavour Flyover Clears out Coffee House

The retired space shuttle, affixed to a Boeing 747, looped all around Los Angeles, passing by South Pasadena two times.

Before its final touch down at LAX, the retired space shuttle Endeavour soared above South Pasadena Friday, urging residents into their yards and customers out of their seats.

People walking down Monterey Road popped into Charlie's Coffee House and announced, "The shuttle's coming!'' said resident Sandy Chiang.

"We all ran out when it was going towrd JPL. It made a loop and came back. It was super close, like right there. It was really cool,'' she said.
