Come to the first-ever San Gabriel Valley Water Forum, intended to increase civic, community leader and public understanding of local water supply challenges and solutions. PANELISTS WILL DISCUSS:
- A history of water-related programs in the San Gabriel Valley and how water gets to your tap;
- Water supply solutions that help balance rising population, a growing economy, budget constraints, low rainfall and climate change;
- The rising cost of water; and
- Understanding and overcoming the risks to our health, economy and environment from water supply disruptions.
Tickets to the event are $35, which includes continental breakfast and lunch. Go to www.sgvwaterforum.eventbrite.com to purchase your ticket or to request additional information. A limited number of free tickets are available for students, teachers and school administrators; see the referenced link. Tickets will NOT be available at the door on the day of the event.
