Meeting Set Monday to Discuss Arroyo Seco Bike & Pedestrian Trail

Community meetings are scheduled for the design phase of the Arroyo Seco Bike and Pedestrian Trail.

The City of South Pasadena released the following information: 

On November 5, 2012, the Parks and Recreation Commission will be holding its second Community meeting to review a draft conceptual and to receive input regarding the linkage trail that will reconnect the Rim of the Valley Trail between Los Angeles and Pasadena. This trail, known as the Arroyo Seco Bike and Pedestrian Trail, is for walkers, joggers and cyclist that will run along the Arroyo.

The information gathered at the October meeting was compiled and a draft conceptual will be presented at the next Parks and Recreation Commission on November 5, 2012. The design of the trail was created by RHA Landscape Architects Planners, Inc.

Funding for the design phase was procured through a grant from Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy for $150,000.

This final meeting will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in the South Pasadena Council Chambers at 1424 Mission Street, South Pasadena.
