November Elections: City Council Deadline Approaches

Wednesday marks the last day to file paperwork to run for South Pasadena City council.

With their intent to run for City Council 2011, WISPPA says female Marina Khubesrian will also appear on the November ballot.

WISPPA has been advocating for a female in office

"As a group, we will not sponsor [the female candidate], per se," explained WISPPA's first vice president Barbara Sinclair in June. "We are here to encourage candidacy and be a base. Not the supporter."
