Sand, Bags Available for South Pas Residents
The city provides the materials free for people who live in South Pasadena.
The sun may be shining, but with scattered showers expected to douse the area this weekend, it might be a good time to pick up some free sandbags.
The City of South Pasadena has provided a bin of sand and accompanying bags, located behind the Fire Department, 817 Mound Ave. If you live in an area prone to flooding, you're encouraged to fill the bags to prep for the winter rains. The National Weather Service predicts a 50 percent chance of showers Friday night and a 40 percent chance of rain Saturday.
