South Pasadena Resident Honored For Voluntary Services to Senior Citizen Commission

South Pasadena City Council Mayor Richard Schneider presented a certificate of appreciation this past week to a South Pasadena resident who volunteered her services on the city’s Senior Citizen Commission.

The certificate was presented to Madalynne Wardlow, who served on the Senior Citizen Commission from 2007 to 2013, “which seems like six years to me,” Schneider remarked only half-jokingly at the council’s Nov. 20 bimonthly meeting.

“It was almost [six years],” Wardlow interjected, just as her daughter came up to take a photograph of the certificate presentation.
