The bridge you see stretching over the 210 freeway comprises nearly 2.5 million pounds of steel and timber, and that's just the falsework.

Wow cool! I've been watching this every week as I drive it. It's amazing. I don't like the final design, though. I think the basket things are cheesy and they could've done something way more interesting to pay honor to the native tribes...
