UPDATE: Redevelopment Agency Vote Postponed Until August

If South Pas Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) opts out of a continuation ordinance, it would be dissolved on Nov. 1 of this year.

It's likely that City council will vote on a continuation ordinance for South Pasadena's Community Redevelopment Agency Aug. 17, according to Assistant City Manager Sergio Gonzalez.

Gonzalez expects the item to be placed on both closed and open sessions.

If passed, the City would pay $230,000 this fiscal year to help fill the state's projected $1.7 billion budget hole. Next year, this annual fee, based on a city's agency size, is expected to decrease, said Gonzalez.
