Where do They Stand on the 710? (City Council Candidates' Forum Part IV)

In opposition of course—but do they support a legal challenge to the tunnel?

Where do the four candidates running for two seats on the South Pasadena City Council stand on an issue that has dragged on for decades but refuses to go away: The 710 freeway, including the unnerving possibility that it might extend across South Pas in the form of an underground tunnel.

That—along with whether or not the candidates support the idea of a legal challenge to the 710 tunnel—was the last of four questions prepared in advance at last week’s candidates forum.

The candidates—incumbents Michael Cacciotti and Philip Putnam, and first-time contestants Diana Mahmud and Alan Reynolds—appeared before a well-attended candidates' forum in the City Council Chambers of City Hall. The highlights of their views about the 710 are presented in the attached video.
