WISPPA Hosts Political Party With Jill Fosselman

The women's political group talked November elections Wednesday night.

About 40 women gathered Wednesday night to talk politics at WISPPA's first cocktail party. Top of agenda was November elections, and Pasadena City Council candidate Jill Fosselman was on hand to encourage attendees to run.

In addition to November elections, other discussion topics included Fair Oaks, massage businesses and redistricting.

The group, also known as Women Involved in South Pasadena Political Action, was formed over a year ago when residents became concerned that the city did not automatically renew former Police Chief Dan Watson's contract.
