Are You All Set For Saturday’s Tiger Run?
Rain is expected, but there's no stopping the 16 annual South Pasadena High School Booster Club event.
Rain or shine, the 16 Annual Tiger Run is scheduled Saturday, Dec 7, from South Pasadena High School.
Registration is underway at the school cafeteria until 8 p.m. Friday, and will also be held Saturday morning before (and just after) the morning’s first event— a 5K run—starts at 8 a.m. on Diamond Avenue, across from the cafeteria. The 10K run will begin at 8:15 a.m., and will be followed by a 300-meter Tiger Cub Run at 9 a.m.
A fundraiser for the school’s Booster Club, this year’s event also includes a Tiger Cycle Tour that has been added at the request of Councilmember Bob Joe, a seasoned runner who picked up his number tag from the school Friday afternoon and was kind enough to pose for the attached photo.
