On Monday, October 8, the League of Women Voters and K-12 News Network will present a community forum regarding the November 6th education funding ballot initiatives.
Senior Policy Advisor for the California Budget Project, Jonathan Kaplan, will share a non-partisan analysis of Proposition 30 and Proposition 38 as well as provide information about the past and current status of education financing in California.
South Pasadena Unified School District Superintendent, Joel Shapiro, and Assistant Superintendent of Business, Scott Price, will be on hand to contribute specifics as to where our school district's finances have been, where they currently stand and where they might be in the future.

Yvonne Pine of the League of Women Voters will moderate. There will also be an audience question and answer period. Information regarding all eleven initiatives appearing on this November's ballot will be availbale as well as voter registration cards.
