is gearing up for an annual local tradition: Summer School registration.
This popular program welcomes all students, whether they attend SPUSD schools or not. High School classes run June 21 through July 25, with Elementary and Intermediate level sessions running June 25 through July 20.
Over 100 classes are available. The elementary school will offer old favorites like Computers, Cooking and various science classes as well as new courses including Robotics, Ukulele, Volleyball, Korean and more. Middle Schoolers can try Movie Making, Jazz Band, Robotics, Tennis, Sewing, Digital Photography as well as the newly added Debate, Radio Broadcasting, Graphic Design and many more.

High School students have a wide range of for-credit offerings to make up classes, improve grades and move ahead.

Live registration dates for SPUSD Students & South Pasadena residents:
- Elementary (entering K-4) - Wednesday, April 11
- Intermediate (entering 5-8) - Monday, April 16
- HS Juniors & Seniors - Wednesday, April 18
- HS Freshmen & Sophs - Wednesday, April 25
On the designated date, applications will be accepted at the School District Board Room at 1020 El Centro Avenue from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with placeholder line numbers distributed at that location from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Line numbers are not required, but will secure a designated sign-up time for that evening's registration.
You may also register for any level class after the first sign-up date in person or via the SPEF drop-box at 1020 El Centro Street #3 or by mail to SPEF, PO Box

Non-residents may register for any level class at the SPEF
This year SPEF is excited to be hosting the A.C. Green Basketball & Leadership Skills Camp from July 30-August 3 at South Pasadena Middle School. The camp, operated under the personal direction of the former Lakers star runs 9 am to 2 pm daily and is open to all boys and girls 7-18.
