Grateful Dads Headline SPHS Booster Bash (Video)

Hundreds attended Saturday's inaugural booster bash for South Pasadena High School.

South Pasadena residents Therese and Mario Molina opened their home to hundreds Saturday night for a high school fundraiser.

The inaugural Booster Bash appeared quite the success, as scores of parents ponied up to bid on silent auction items before feasting on tacos from Pasadena's Rasta Taco.

But the highlight for many was the classic rock sounds of South Pasadena's own Grateful Dads. Check out their rendition of the Jackson 5's "I want You Back.''

Leave it to the Molinas to volunteer their home for an event. Since they moved to their current home they have hosted numerous important fundraising events. Therese is one of those that does not say no, she has been involved in more volunteerism in town than can be enumerated. The Tiger run would not exist if it was not for her diligence. If there is a key event in So Pas count on the Molinas to be the gracious hosts. Hats off to them (everyone knows I wear one!)

Yes, Henk, that house seems perfect for parties! I've only seen the exterior, and it's lovely. Much fun!
