Here's the List of Teachers Retiring
Thirty SPUSD employees will retire this year. Among them are Monterey Hills Principal Joe Johnson and SPHS Assistant Principal John Smith. What teachers do you recognize from the list?
that 30 employees will retire this year after being offered an incentive package that will pay 85 percent of their salary over the next five years.
This will save the district a projected $250,000 over a three-year period, according to Superintendent Joel Shapiro.
Among those retiring is Principal Joe Johnson, who has worked as a teacher and administrator in the district for 37 years, as well as Assistant Principal John Smith.
