Holy Family and Santa Bring Smiles to Kids' Faces (Photos)

Holy Family giving bank held its annual toy giveaway and gave out thousands of toys to area kids.

After the tragic events in Connecticut was especially important Monday to bring smiles to local youngsters' faces.

Holy Family, aided by an influx of toy donations, made their attempt to contribute to make the holidays more meaningful for those in need by hosting their annual Christmas toy giveaway.

Event coordinator Carrie Lu Sue was assisted by a host of volunteer "elves.'' Students from area schools handed out refreshments to those waiting in the long lines, while others helped in making things proceed smoothly.
