Loo has served on School Board since April 2002. Initially, he was appointed when a seat became vacant. He campaigned for the seat in 2003 and 2007, winning both times.
Moving to South Pas in 1986 for its quiet neighborhoods and reputable schools, his three children all attended SPUSD.

Why he's running for school board:
I have a history of community service. I have the experience and commitment to get things done. With nine years of experience on the school board, I have a knowledge base to work with the relevant issues at hand. It’s a privilege to be able to contribute in a positive way. Students are the future, and it’s very rewarding to be part of the solution.
