SPHS Hosts ‘Solar Decathlon’ on Energy Efficient Homes
Students from Caltech and the Southern California Institute of Architecture give presentations.
South Pasadena High School was the venue for a “solar decathlon” by a team from the California Institute of Technology that gave presentations earlier this week about homes that conserve energy without losing their aesthetic appeal.
The SPHS Tiger newspaper reports that the decathlon, comprising Caltech and Southern California Institute of Architecture students, was held in the school auditorium on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
