SPMS Girls' Basketball Team Makes History!
The eighth grade girls' basketball team beat La Cañada in its final game of the season Tuesday.
South Pasadena Middle School has played its way into the record books: the eighth grade girls' basketball team has gone undefeated for back-to-back seasons.
The team slammed La Cañada on Tuesday 40-29, ending the season witout one loss. It's the first time in the school's history the team has gone undefeated two seasons in a row.
"They had a great turnout and the girls would like to thank everyone for coming out to cheer for them,'' said Sandie Tom, whose daughter, Juliana, plays on the team.
