SPUSD Promotion: Arroyo Vista Elementary
Fifth graders at Arroyo Vista School were promoted to South Pas Middle school during a rainy ceremony Thursday morning.
Light rain didn't deter promotion ceremonies held at Thursday morning. Students sang a variety of songs—most notably "We love AV" (to the tune of we love L.A.)—and one student even had the initials shaved on his head.
Several students spoke about their years at the school; it was the first of three elementary school promotions with and following later in the morning.
