Tiger Newspaper was honored as a 2011 gold medalist by Columbia Scholastic Press Association—making it the third consecutive year in a row.
student publication, Tiger Newspaper, was honored as a 2011 gold medalist by Columbia Scholastic Press Association—making it the third consecutive year in a row.
While this award is nothing new to the paper, it's the first time Tiger Online has been recognized, according to the high school's website.

The newspaper was praised for professional design, solid writing, and outstanding illustrations and sports action photography. CSPA said that 'Messages for Hajime' showed the impact that Tiger can have on the school community. Strong leadership was demonstrated in editorials and web exclusive content kept readers informed between print editions.
