Viewfinder: Scenes of South Pasadena

A glimpse into the activities around town by Patch photographer Henk Friezer.

You'll find residents staying fit and giving back in this week's viewfinder. For instance, various clubs at South Pasadena High School recently hosted a car wash in the school's parking lot with proceeds being donated to Japan.

Also, athletes from several states and throughout California participated in the first Tiger Invite. The meet served as a precursor to the prestigious Arcadia Invitational track meet—one the most famous prep meets in the nation.

As some of you may know, Trader Joe's has become a popular gathering place on Saturday mornings for area cyclists who then ride off through the streets of South Pasadena—as you can see in this week's viewfinder.
