Viewfinder: Scenes of South Pasadena

A compilation of events occurring around South Pasadena the past week.

Highlighted events marking the past week included South Pas residents raising money for cancer and tsunami victims, through yard sales.

Due to budget constraints the South Pasadena PTSA held a paper drive at the high school, where parents brought reams of paper for teachers to use in classrooms since the district does not have the funds to buy school supplies.

After a  six-year hiatus, the fire department with the local Kiwanis club held their annual spaghetti feed at the firehouse this weekend. Money raised went to help burn victims and  fire safety programs at area schools.
