If you'd like to bike with others to CicLAvia rather than taking Metro Rail or a car there, BikeSGV is meeting at the Metro Rail Mission Station (Patch didn't have a listing for it and wouldn't add one so I used Radika across the street) and cycling as a group to the CicLAvia start point.
