Walk to End Epilepsy

The Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA, is a fun-filled community event with an important cause. Join us for the 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Stroll, Family-friendly Games & Activities, Food Trucks, Photobooths, and Resource Fair.

Many people aren't aware that seizures can strike suddenly and unexpectedly at any point in one's life. At least 40% of the 160,000 living with epilepsy in our backyard are severely affected and continue to have seizures despite treatment. There is no cure. Step forward to raise awareness and funds for a community so often neglected and forgotten. If you love to be active, spend quality time with others, enjoy activities and entertainment outdoors, then do what you love to do, but do it to make a difference.

Wheelchair and stroller friendly. All proceeds benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles' mission to provide care, advocacy, and education today while investing in research and hope for tomorrow
