Sir Bradley Wiggins of Britain won cycling's Tour of California which concluded Sunday with a 76.1-mile circuit race beginning and ending in Thousand Oaks.
Wiggins began the stage with a 30-second lead over Australian Rohan Dennis and finished 20th today as each of the top 57 cyclists were credited with the same time, two hours, 53 minutes, 50 seconds.
Dennis finished 38th in the stage. American Lawson Craddock finished third overall, 1:48 behind Wiggins, after a 29th-place finish in the stage.

Wiggins, the 2012 Tour de France champion and a four-time Olympic gold medalist, led the eight-stage, approximately 720-mile race that began last Sunday in Sacramento since the completion of Monday's Stage 2 individual time trial in Folsom.
Mark Cavendish won today's stage. He also won the first stage.

The stage passed through Westlake Village and Agoura Hills. It included three laps of a 21-mile circuit, with cyclists making three 910-foot ascents up the "Rock Store" climb on Mulholland Drive between Malibu and Agoura Hills, followed by three 4.6-mile circuits around Westlake Lake.
