Tigers fall short against Titans

South Pasadena's football team held San Marino's touted highl scoring team scoreless in a defensive battle first half. The Tigers had a golden opportunity to score in early part of the game, after a great run by Heven Gomez, but chose to pass up a field goal to try to score on a fourth down play that failed. The second half saw the Tigers and Titan exchanging early scores, but from then on it was all SM, as they pulled out a 21-6 victory. The final score was a moral win of sorts for the the Tigers as the vaunted Titan offense had rolled over opponents by much higher scores. South Pas played the undefeated Titans  even most of the game. They next play another powerhouse team next week at Monrovia.
